The Viewpoint Organisation (TVO) maintains an information security management system (ISMS), a set of policies and procedures for systematically managing data.

The goal is to minimize risk and ensure business continuity for TVO and customers by pro-actively limiting the impact of any security breach. This system is endorsed by TVO executive.

Cyber Essentials from NCSC provides detailed guidance and certification to organisations to protect themselves in cyber space. Cyber Essentials is based on the controls required as a minimum to ensure an organisation is adequately protecting its system. The Viewpoint Organisation has achieved Cyber Essential Certification.

All data is stored securely online using Microsoft SQL Server, a relational database management system. In the UK, Europe and Canada the Microsoft Azure platform is used, and in Australia and New Zealand the Servers Australia platform is used. All systems are fully managed and maintained environments, 24 x7 x 365.  All data centres are ISO 270001 certified. Data Processing Agreements are available to all customers ensuring that local data processing standards and requirements are complied with.

Secarma Ltd, a National Cyber Security Centre approved CHECK company provides penetration testing of Viewpoint system developments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend effective security countermeasures.

The Viewpoint Organisation holds worldwide Professional Indemnity Insurance and Cyber Liability Insurance. The Viewpoint Organisation companies are registered with Information Commissioner Offices in local jurisdictions as required.
